Anyone hear from or tour with Tong lately?

I booked her quite a bit ago and was trying to reach her via email to set up our daily itineraries now that the departure date is nearing. She's responded to previous email but nothing in the last month (and I tried all 3 of my email accounts).

Anyone tour with or her from her lately?

Thanks!

Spookily she emailed me just today, try her again (i know it can be frustrating that she doesn't respond so quickly but she really is worth persevering with if you havent met her before)

I just heard back from her last night for the first time (I tried one other time previously with no luck).

I wasn't sure if we would have any luck since we just starting planning our trip for Dec 1 & 2, but she said she may have a cancellation and will take us herself - otherwise, we will go with one of her other guides.

Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to be persistent but not so much stalker-like.

I had an E-mail exchange with her yesterday. She will answer. Be persistent. WWPD. What would Panda do? I promise she's worth the repeated attempts.

Thank you for the heads-up on her father's illness. The last thing she needs is me pestering her ... the trip is still 5 weeks away. I just still hadn't heard our itinerary was confirmed or how much it will cost.

It's very exciting to have responses from the Panda and Bob (I believe). After lurking here for advice and reading such pithy, intelligent advice and reports, I'm already nervous about putting together a trip report upon return.

If you've reserved her, Don't worry. It will work out. Her price ia about 3000 Baht for a day, plus gas.

Excellent. It's probably just my over-excitement for a first trip to Thailand.
