Dear my Fodorites friends!!

Could someone help me with a month tour around southeast Asia?

My first plan it was to stay 20 days and spend in Bangkok, Bali, Phi Phi and others beaches, but know change my mind and get 30 days.. How about use 1 week in Philippines or Papa New Guinea?

Whats the best place to dive?

Miss Green, did you stay on PhiPhi or just go as a day trip? There are a number of people here who feel that PhiPhi is heaven on earth, but they give explicit instructions about where to stay and where not to stay.

Juliano, are you only interested in beaches?

You are thinking of going places that are pretty far apart. Bali is a good four hour flight from Bangkok. And PNG will be lots farther and with multiple connecting flights. The Philippines are easier to get to.

People don't really go to PNG for beaches, but for culture, though there is good diving there. PNG is quite expensive. The Philippines, however are much less expensive and well known for beautiful beaches.

indonesia best dive site is raja ampat in western Papua (indonesia part). acknowledged by national geography as world's richest diversity underwater life. perhaps spend few days there?

My daughter spent her spring break (March this year) at Borocay in the Philippines and loved it.

For Thailand she's been to Phuket (November 2011) and Koh Samui (Dec. 2012) She liked K. Samui better.

My husband is a scuba diver and we will spend 1 week in Khao Lak, Thailand in March 2014.

* 7 days in the beach near Phi Phi.
* 7 days in Bali
* 5 days in Philippines or another place.
