15 hour Layover in Tokyo (HND)
Hi everyone,
Looks like we'll have a 15 hour layover (overnight) while coming from Beijing back to Chicago later this year.
Can anyone recommend an easy to get to hotel from HND so we can crash for the night before heading back to the airport in the morning?

A year ago I had an overnight layover at Haneda & stayed in the Royal Park Hotel which is attached to the international terminal. Reasonably priced & just fine.

Since you only have a short time, I'd definitely recommend one of the hotels right at HND like the Royal Park or Villa Fontaine that others mentioned. That way you've got no commute, can get a good night's sleep, and are right there for your early morning flight. The Villa Fontaine sounds especially nice with the onsen. Even if you can't explore Tokyo, at least you can relax and be refreshed for your long flight back to Chicago.

An airport hotel would be your best option. But in the event that doesn’t work for you there is the Heiwajima Onsen, not far from Haneda. There is direct bus service from the airport, hot springs, massage, restaurant and rest areas for naps. Open 24 hours.

Immigration and customs is a complication to travel, I guess. With a US passport then no problem at immigration. Check on customs requirement, like what you cannot bring into the country (drugs, knives, ...)
