At last report, visas for Vietnam cost US$50, and I while they are supposed to be available on arrival, I have not tried this, so you may have to obtain one before you arrive. I also don't know if the visa on arrival program is available for to citizend of whatever country of which you are a citizen. You might check to make sure you can get a visa on arrival and the cost.
