Yet another Admiral's Club access question

My Dad's flying LAX-ORD-PVG in paid J (no status) next week. The LAX-ORD flight departs at 11:55pm. I think technically AC access is supposed to be the same day as the intl flight but does anyone think the LAX AC would deny him access?

And yes, I signed him up for PVG09, DEQM and Plat Challenge Did I miss anything?

I doubt if they'll deny him access. His business class ticket will get him in, no need for status (although he'll have it by the end of the PVG flight.) The fact that the lounge is open until 12:30 AM means they're accustomed to red-eye pax who will be connecting the "following" day. Of course I could be wrong; sometimes the Admiral's Club guardians can be overly strict. But I'd be surprised.

Not only did he get in, I think he might have gone into the Flagship lounge. He told me there was free food like sushi, noodles and other stuff. Is the FL inside the AC? Can you just wander in? I've only been in the LAX AC a couple of times and never really looked around.

Oh, nevermind. I totally misunderstood him. He was comparing the lack of food offerings in the AC to the TBIT lounges.

He said pax had their temperature taken on board on arrival. Took about half an hour.

I flew into Tokyo earlier this week and we sat on the plane at NRT for 45 min. while a team of masked and gowned health elves came on board and took thermographic images of everybody on the plane. All of first class and half of coach was held (I was in J and allowed off before anyone else) because one or more folks were hotter than allowed. 100% of the Japanese staff at the airport, even the parking cops, were masked.
