Worried About Easy Jet Carry On Limit

Has anyone recently flown Easy Jet? I'm going carry on for 3 weeks and my suitcase is a tad over the 22" length limit because of a handle. I'd appreciate any info about check in. Thanks, Les

We flew EasyJet July, 2011 from Malaga to Basel.

I think 22" is fine as a carry-on but the final say will depend on the gate agent. EasyJet has a metal sizer by the boarding gate and if the GA thinks your SINGLE carry-on is big, she'll ask you to fit it there, and if it doesn't fit, you will be force to check it in (with the added fee).

Our carry-ons were back-packs and large tote bags, but we saw a few people with roller-board luggages (20"-22") not being allowed to bring them on the plane as carry-ons because they didn't fit into the sizer.

Mine is 22 inch with a telescoping handle I made on all flights

with easyjet.com have flown them a bunch...be careful with

weight also an issue ryan air is worst for that always try

to stay under 10 Kg www.onebag.com good tips.

Be aware the game on all the econos is to make you pay extra

to learn how to play the game and decline EVERYTHING.

(and resist the urge to moo as you board) there is usually

a mad scramble for the exit seats...

Have fun and good luck!

FYI-Flew them last year from LGW to Marrakesh and my airline crew rollaboard that is 21 1/2(Travelpro) wouldn't have been allowed as carryon.Agents are like Gestapo about size and weights-son couldn't even carry on a poster rolled up this past spring from Slovenia in a side pocket of his backpack?
