CFA and Carrybean - thanks for the responses. I think if it's just one person sleeping it's not so bad. Last year I had both of them sleeping - my stubby legs just can't make that leap.

From your responses (and the "pet peeves" of others), it sounds like it's not too annoying if I have to get up once during a flight - as long as I don't use the seat in front of me to do so). Since I rarely need to get up, I like to leave the aisle seats for those who need to move around more... plus, I like to take photos of the cloud formations during the flight.

Ahh, that makes sense. Now I see why you want a window seat. I always have to fly eastbound trans-Atlantic overnight so it's dark out. Coming back, it's daytime flights.

Carrybean - yeah, it's that dang camera affliction! I also am more comfortable in the window seat - I can lean my head against the wall with a little pillow and am quite comfy.
