British Midland. It is a Star Alliance partner of United, Lufthansa, etc. We flew bmi last year RT ORD-MAN. I thought they were fine for economy class. Service was good. Comfort was no better or worse than others I've flown. At the time we flew, they used an Airbus 330 that had a good seat-back entertainment system with a variety of movies and video games (I don't think the type of plane has changed). Food was okay. Beer and wine were free. I'd certainly fly with them again.
