If you try for FF flights involving a partner airline, you cannot book it online at their website. You must telephone them. But you simply cannot get through. What the heck has happened to US Airways? The don't even place you on hold - they tell you to telephone later. But when are they free to take your call?? What a situation!!

That's what happens when a company lays off so many of their customer service reps. Don't know the exact number of laid off employees but it seems that every company in the travel industry is subsisting on only a skeleton crew. Try calling late at nite.

Same thing happens when I try to call Delta. Half the time, I just get a busy signal. Mornings seem to be the worst time to call.

Same thing has happened to me on United. I suggest you call when the weather all over the country is perfect and therefore call volume down!!! Good luck

E-mail USAirways Dividend Miles and ask them to CALL YOU!! It worked for me.

I just recently b ooked two seats from neward to lax on united using usair miles--I was connected right away, unlike united...I waited 25 min. to purchase a ticket with a reservation and price set to expire at midnight.
