UA Economy + with FF miles?

When you book on line,do you get the offer to purchase(for cash)Economy plus seats if the original coach seats are secured with FF miles? Thanks.

That's never an option. You can purchase a year's E+ access for $349 (I think), or you may be offered a cash buy-up at the airport.

So if I have the yearly subscription to E+, it does apply if I have a FF seat?
Thanks again.

I believe EricH is wrong about this. I obtained seats with FF miles and I have been offered the option on line to upgrade. The cost is usually fairly minimal. This is a recent change - You no longer have to pay for a year's E+ access.

Yes, your EPA would apply to an award ticket.

Craig,

Were you offered E+ at booking or at check-in?

I just booked with FF miles. The Economy + was not offered when I first chose my seat, but when I went back in to view my itinerary, it gave me the option to upgrade to Economy +. ($117 r/t Harrisburg to Seattle). Thanks all.

Yes, as Schnitzel says, when you go on line and view your itinerary, it is offered to you then.
