Tracking award miles

What internet site or computer program do you use to keep track of your frequent flyer miles on different airlines?

Non for me. I just use the airline(s) sites.

I believe there are couple of sites that will do that for you, but I never really understood the need for it.

I just use the airline sites. I try to restrict my mileage earning to as few programs as possible, so you are only talking 2 or 3 active accounts at any given time.

If you do want a program, the miletracker program from USA Today looks decent:

Travelgourmet, Thanks for the link. Before downloading this program I want to see if there are any other recommendations.

I agree, with 2 or 3 programs it is easy to go to those airline sights. I am in several airline programs. Then there are the hotel programs. Lets not forget the separate credit card programs not attached to any one airline or hotel.

Having one statement with all my award programs listed will make keeping tract a lot easier. I'm hoping at least one of these will also let me know expiration dates for the individual miles/points.

I have also looked at AwardWallet.com and Mileport.com. Anyone have any more information on either of these or USA Todays Miletracker.

My Smith Barney account comes with a service to track all the financial and reward programs I'm in. But it's not open to the public.

I use Excel and customized various worksheets for my needs (FF programs, credit card programs, etc.).

I use Miletracker and love it. It tracks my AA, Priority Club, Starwood, and Hilton points. I click on it daily to get my updated balances.

www.AwardWallet.com rocks. Good service, fast support, always adding new programs. In fact, I asked for a program to be added and they had it in about 1 week. By the way. I have used ALL of the other services mentioned and a few not mentioned.

One more thing I forgot to mention...
www.AwardWallet.com also send me an email on Sat. showing me an account activity summary. I also get notifications if my miles are about to expire. They also consolidate my itineraries into one screen with maps, etc.

I use a very non-tech way - that is I have enterred in my computer all the various FF mile program numbers for all 4 family members - plus ones for Amtrak, various hotels, EZPass transponder account number - with passwords and expiration dates - on a regular spreadsheet. About every 6-12 months I update the number of points on each by going to airline website - just so I have a rough idea how many we have on each.

Then I print it to keep in travel file.
