Hi Julie7963, In the past it was cheaper to catch a seperate flight to NYC, 'JetBlue', and then check in w/another airline at JFK. Today I find it cheaper to fly from ROC. This past November I went to Madrid for 300.18 rt w/ AA/IB and Rome 2 weeks ago, 388.00 rt w/ UA/LH. With that said and in the interest of 'cheap fares', wait!!! 900 is WAY to much!!!!! Check fares to LHR and catch the train to Paris.. For Oct travel, start looking in Sept.
PS I live in the SouthWedge........

Thanks for the advice. Rochester is such an expensive market.
I've got a fare watcher for ROC/LON so I can compare to ROC/PAR and consider the train.
I'll start searching in earnest around August-September.
Landineen - we're practically neighbors. I'm in the Cobbs Hill neighborhood.
