Problems with seat selection request on Easyjet

Can anyone help solve this mystery? I want to select seats on an existing Easyjet flight reservation in late September. When I sign in and go to the seat selection option for the two seats that are needed, my fellow traveler and I are noted on the top left, but nothing happens when I try to click on an apparently open seat. I have tried several strategies and three browsers without success. While I am not an Easyjet Plus member, I am willing to pay for the upgraded seat options. Is there some secret to this process? Thank you!

Try on the air travel forum, there are some people there who fly frequently.

Restart computer if you haven’t? Make sure you update software. Or try another device.

there are some websites that don’t play well with my computer and that’s happened to me before, just not with easyjet.

I would download the EasyJet App from Apple or GooglePlay and use that It always seems to work much better than the website. You have the ability to download boarding passes to your phone avoiding the need to print them for the airport and bypass check in many cases

Sounds like you have popup blocker enabled on your browser. Try another browser that doesn't have this enabled or turn off the popup blocker for Easyjet on the browser you are using and try again.

I agree this is a computer problem. I don't use apps, only use the website, and have never had a problem selecting seats, and I've used it recently. So it's something with you and how you are doing things or your computer/browser or something. Easyjet Plus has nothing to do with it. I don't know what you are doing wrong, though. It might have been easier if you had selected seats to begin with, though, when you first bought the ticket, I'll admit that's what I do so I haven't tried to add them later on after having already bought the type of ticket I wanted.

They are not doing anything wrong, it is a setting on their browser. It would still happen if they tried during the initial booking process.

yes, easy jet app is great. love it. I use it now to book my flights and find it better than the website.
