Missed Flight
My daughter was ill and missed her flight. Vayama told me I could not have a refund or credit towards another flight, but could get the taxes back........(international flight) . They told me to call British Airways who in turn told me to call Vayama........big run around. Any tips on what to do?

If you didn't contact the airlines BEFORE the flight took off, I'm not sure what you can do now. That's simply a no-show.
I'd get back on the phone with both Vayama and BA. Sometimes you can get a different answer from a different (more helpful) agent.

First, it's a low cost airline, how much did your daughter lose? Suze is correct in not contacting the airline prior to the flight.
Which airline did you book the trip through? That should be the responsible airline, regardless of which airline you flew.
This is when I do a cost / benefit analysis. How much $$ are you fighting for, and does the benefit of the taxes regained outweigh the cost to try to get the $$ back.
