I've been in Orlando only once, but had the same situation! There is a central "routundra" where all terminals meet. Please see the link I've attached.

Near that general area, if I recall, there were places to eat and drink too.

If they are coming into the same terminal, they can just meet you at your arrival gate.
If not, then they could just meet you at the exit from your arrival terminal.
Here is a great map of the main terminal. Just move the cursor over the little dots and it will tell you what restaurant/bar/store that is...

Actually, it's not all that big, and I think you'll find it easy. The routundra I speak of is quite recognizable when you get there.
AAFF has a good point too about meeting at the gate. And naming a partcular place to meet might be helpful.
Well, you've tapped my knowledge of Orlando. Now, if you want to know about O'Hare, I'll be in more familiar territory!
