Changing planes at Atlanta

I'm flying with KLM from UK/Amsterdam/Orlando with flight change at Atlanta (I've got about 1hr 50mins.) Do I go through immigration AND customs at Atlanta or Orlando - or both?? Thanks.

You have to go through both immigration and customs at ATL. If you have checked luggage, you need to claim them there. [It's basically the same way at any US airport for international arrivals.

After you clear everything, you drop off the bags again right outside the customs exit. Then you go look for your Delta flight to Orlando. Even if you see a KL flight number, that leg is on Delta.

Thanks. That means I'll be quicker exiting at MCO - where I guess I just walk out?
