Liquid restrictions on domestic US flights
Hi,
This may be a really stupid question but is there the same liquid restrictions on board domestic flights in the US as there is on international? My girlfriend wants to get some Napa wines to take to NYC when we leave San Francisco and carry them on board. Is this possible. We are travelling with AA.
Thanks

She would have to check the wines. She can't take the bottles as carry on.
I agree with Wally. About 95% of wines produced in California can be found just about anywhere, especially in New York City. Just find a nice wine shop in NYC and chances are you can buy the same wines. Not worth the hassle of transporting the wines yourself.

Another suggestion would be to have the winery ship the wines. They will know if they can ship it top NY state. Each state has different laws about wine delivery.
That's a valid option if the wine(s) are so obscure that you can't get them through a good local wine shop.
