JFK - food

have 6 hrs at jfk on our way to London, we thought we would just have dinner at the airport. Been there before, but can't remember much about airport. Looking for dinning, not fast food, Any help.

Which airline? There are flights to JFK out of 4 or 5 totally separate terminals.

A few months ago someone recommended an Italian restaurant in nearby Howard Beach - I think it was one of our regular NYC posters.

This may be the post.

With six hours between flights I would not leave the airport. But you could go to another terminal. The Jetblue terminal has quite a few sit down restaurants. Which airline are you flying?

Will be landing in terminal 3 Delta and deparing for London in terminal 2 Delta. Thank you for the info. We did not want to leave the airport, but terminal to terminal would be ok. Got to do something with 6 hours.

What do you all think of Todd English Bonfire Steak house?

I suspect it's expensive, and Todd English restaurants can be hit or miss. I don't have any personal experience with this one. If you want a steak, there is also a Palm in Terminal 4 (you'd have to take the Airtrain one stop). It's pre-security (and also quite expensive).
