Jet Blue
Has anyone ever flown with them. They seem to have good rates like AirTran does. And they have a payment plan which I dont think I would do. I am flying from Pittsburgh to Orlando probably on xmas day since most people might wait until after. Any advice on there airline. Thanks.

Great airline. You would connect via JFK, though. jetBlue had a meltdown there due to weather last year. I don't remember when.
Fare is actually lower on the 24th.
Air Tran has nonstops for less ($119). The USAir nonstops are higher ($165) but only $20 more than jetBlue connecting flights ($145).

JetBlue just 'rebooked' my flights I reserved in August for a November trip to Italy.
I was using them to get to/from JFK for the international flight. The new flights they gave me had a 9 hour wait going and left before my overseas arrival coming home.
The tickets are nonrefundable even though they changed the schedule. They blamed it on FAA required changes, etc., but gave me a credit for another ticket within a year, thus waiving the change fee of $100.
Evidently, booking too far in advance was the problem? But I was notified 30 days in advance allowing time for alternative reservations with Delta.

Booking farther in advance does increase the chance that there will be a schedule change, but I did have a jetBlue schedule change that was around 25 days in advance. Might have been a cancelled flight and we got seats on a later flight.

During storms last summer that closed down some flights and caused me to miss my Delta connecting flight at jfk, I bought the last seat on a Jet Blue going to SFO. The flight was also weather delayed, but the pilot was great in communicating the delays to pax, and although I had flown from Rome, sat through hours of delays, and was stuck in a middle seat, and was feeling raw from head to toe, it was a relatively comfortable flight--comfy seat, good entertainment (personal screen), and seemed to be better leg room than some.

i live in pittsburgh and fly JetBlue whenever i can. Howver, I have never flown themfrom pit-orlando since southwest($148 ow0 and AirTran($157 ow) both fly nonstop. JFK connections are also hard when a snow storm comes through around xmas.
