International Connection through Philadelphia
Hello I have a flight booked to Rome from Phoenix through Philadelphia on US Airways. I have a little over 90 minutes between connections. I have flown in and out of Philly but never connected. I am know thinking I do not have enough time. Should I pay the $250 change fee (flying on miles) or press my luck??

90 minutes for a domestic-to-international connection is no problem. It is no different from domestic-to-domestic. On the way back, it is tighter, but if you miss your connection, USAirways will just put you on their next flight back to PHX.

Unfortnately I land at 4:40 in the afternoon. I do not think I have to go through security again. Is that correct? I recall the International Terminal being quite a walk but all within the same terminal.

Based on flights from yesterday and today, flight arriving from PHX usually uses one of the C gates, while the flight to FCO departs from A25 or 26 at the far end of Concourse A-West. The gates can be up to 0.75mi apart, but still, it should be plenty of time. No security check.
