Fares - PHX to SFO or OAK

Looking at booking roundtrip PHX to SFO or OAK June 1-4 Roundtrip is pricing at around $250. Ouch. That seems like alot. Is this a typical fare between these city pairs? Wondering if I should book now or wait?

Delta has one itinerary via SLC that's $209 for those dates. Nothing else under $250.

Thanks, rkkwan. For that difference in fare, its not worth it to fly connections. Just wondering if anyone has "a feel" for wheter $250 is typical roundtrip fare for nonstops.

Sounds good to me. I'm flying nonstop PHX/SFO in April one way for $152.40.

I knew if I bought my tickets fares would go down! I paid $537 for 2 tkts PHX/OAK roundtrip. Now I can get those same flights for $376. Cancelled the original flights, and rebooked. Now have a credit of about 200 and can go somewhere else too! Southwest has some pretty good fares right now, so check it out if you're interested.

Thats what I like about Southwest. No change fees! So if fare goes down, or you have to cancel, you can book other flights wihtout paying a penalty!
