Emirates Airline

They have quite a complex website but it does not give the answers that I want nor will it lets me ask quesstions. What I want is a simple telephone number so that I can talk to a real person and discuss our trip to Paris and Dublin. I would have been happy to do this by e-mail but I couldn't find an e-mail address. I did try to fill in their enquiry form but it is full of obstacles, almost as if they do not want customers to actually ask questions. This seems to be the way that the business world is going nowadays, their systems take preference over the needs of their customers.

If you're in the US, their reservations number is (800)777-3999.

If you go on the Emirates global site, click 'Help', then choose 'Find a local emirates office' it allows you to choose your country, and then lists the cities with offices in that country

When you choose the city it shows, street map, address, phone numbers, e-mail addresses , and in some cases opening hours and other languages spoken. It's very comprehensive.
Here's the web address of that page

http://www.emirates.com/english/help...s_offices.aspx

My experience is only with one of the Australian offices, but they were excellent in answering my questions

Hope this helps, good luck

How are the seats in coach? Similiar to other airlines?

Is the Premier Economy or whatever they call it worth it?

Im flying them for the first time in May.

Thanks

Emirates do not have premium economy, at least not on their longhaul flights.

They put 10-abreast on their 777, though offer a bit more legroom. Most airlines still have 9-abreast on the 777, though more and more are doing 10-abreast now, including AF/KLM.

Yes Mike I did look at that website, it is very comprehensive and is the very one that I am complaining about, too complicated and too many obstacles, no simple e-mail address so I'll cross that airline off the list. Have since read many complaints about their cramped seating so definitely not interested.

I flew Emirates from India two months ago for the first time. Lovely experience. Good food, comfortable seating, no more cramped in coach than any other airline, in fact the seats appeared to have been designed to be comfortable with less seat padding/thus more room. I'd recommend them and would certainly use them again.

My question was about as clear as muc. Forgive me

What I meant is my checked in bag is under weight....but Im worried about my carry on ..as I am allowed only 1 it seems and that also means no purse!!!

I depart from Damascus...how strict are they there.

Thank you..

I flew out of Dubai and Kochi on Emirates and I don't remember carry ons being weighed. I had a roll-aboard bag and a tote bag. Don't know about Damascus, sorry.
