Easy Jet tickets-how can you buy from the US with proper chip on Visa card?

I am trying to buy tickets from LGW to the Canary Islands on Easy Jet for the Christmas holidays. Our family has had this problem in the past with trying to buy tickets for Easy Jet because their computer will not take our US visa card as it does not have the European pin/chip verification on it for online purposes. I even tried to have AAA travel agency book the seats for us but they are unable to do it so am wondering if anyone else has run into this problem? The prices are going up like crazy so if anyone has any thoughts on how to secure our tickets I would be most grateful! thanks!

ps the note on fees/payments says

All bookings will incur a £8.00 booking fee except for bookings made by Visa electron which is free. Bookings made by Visa Credit Card, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, Carte Bleue (domestic transactions only) and UATP/Airplus will incur an additional fee of 2.5% of the total transaction value, with a minimum charge of £4.95, whichever is greater.

I'm pretty sure amex doesn't have a chip and pin option - do you have an amex?

Have booked with my Verfied by Visa no fee capitalone.com

on skyscannernet.com easyjet.com ryanair.com within the last

3 years from the US with no problems.

Amex has worked also in the past try that if you have one.

Call/contact them direct if you keep having problems.

Frequently Visa CC that is not verified can have problems.

Thanks everyone-ended up using my debit card and it went right through. However, Visa called ASAP for fraud control but I did get the tickets.Unfortunately my husband had a heart attack tonight getting three more heart stents so perhaps I should have waited?

Easyjet only ask for the standard information that is on all CCs including the ccv (numbers on the back). It's nothing to do with PINS or chips.
