Question: Has anyone flown Virgin Atlantic from Seattle to London Heathrow?

We are getting older, and have gotten used to flying Economy Plus on United. This year, there is a good schedule for a Delta flight Seattle to London Heathrow "operated by Virgin Atlantic." (Delta has bought 49% of Virgin Atlantic.) I saw this on kayak.com and on a Delta site. However, another site that shows where Delta and Virgin fly from in the US says firmly that Seattle is a Delta airport. I have read that Delta will have premium economy on international flights "in 2017." We're traveling in April. I don't trust that the service will be up, and I will not be able to read any reviews. But Virgin has a premium economy service that looks good. Can I trust that it will be a Virgin flight?

Currently, it is definitely DL36, a Delta-operated flight.

From the 26th March, it will be a Virgin flight, VS106.
You can check that yourself, on the Virgin website, under flight schedules.

Oh, I love hearing that we will be able to fly Virgin Atlantic from Seattle to LHR!

I was just looking at these flights today -- flying SFO-LHR next June, and they showed a number of flights going SF-SEA-LHR and back -- I wanted non-stop so didn't get it but there were definitely Virgin Atlantic flights.

Usually I score a Business Saver ticket on United (now) or Delta (in the old days) -- but I was able to get Premium Economy Virgin Atlantic nonstop for around $1350. Now is a good time to check prices. (I check Google Flights and their Matrix/calendar then book through the airline or through Orbitz.)
