Dallas to Zurich - no nonstop flights?

Hey all. I've been researching trips for next year and noticed that there are no direct flights from Dallas/Ft. Worth to Zurich. Does anyone know why this is? The last time I went to Zurich was in 2006 and it was nonstop to Zurich.

Swiss International was a oneworld carrier, but was purchased by Lufthansa and switched to Star in 2006.

AA discontinued its non-stop to Zurich for lack of demand. Last time I took it, DW and I were half the passengers in business class.

Ah, ok. Thanks all. It's gonna be a bit of a pain doing the 1 connection thing, but I guess it is what it is now.

I also miss the non-stop to Zurich as I took it a few years ago, but sadly it's toast. As rkkwan mentions, AA dumped this route when Swiss joined the Star Alliance.
