No more Easyjet service LGW to Zurich

Effective 3/27, EasyJet will not fly LGW to ZRH. I had been having an internal debate as to whether to fly from LGW to Geneva or to Zurich in May. Guess that decision is made for me.

That leaves Mytravellite and FlyBE from Southampton to Geneva, Bmibaby from East Midlands to Zurich and Germanwings from Stansted via Cologne to Zurich.

The London Luton to Zurich Easyjet flights are still being offered-for now.

Don't even get me started on the new vile Zurich terminal that flyers out of ZRH are being forced to pay for and use, even though there is enough capacity at the old (and better) terminal. It takes 3x longer to get to the gate from check-in (and from gate to baggage claim) and now luggage doesn't arrive for at least 30 minutes (it used to be 10 min. max).

I'm not saying you're wrong, but did you see this somewhere? I couldn't find it on the EasyJet Website. Of course, 3/27 is the last day they are currently selling tickets for many destinations as they are just now starting to add the summer ones. Will they not be adding that route or the Luton to Zurich route soon for the summer??

Duh. OK, I went back and almost immediately found that announcement in their "news" section. But I also see their Luton to Zurich route remains unchanged.

Totally agree with you, Chris!

The only thing "Unique" about ZRH airport is how much it does to inconvenience passengers through construction, long treks and obscenely high passenger fees.
