Yesterday (Thursday) must have been the day "they" (UA/Star Alliance) decided to let loose of some FF tickets to BKK for the December holiday! I managed to snag (3) THREE in one swoop! No, they are not all on the same date (1-Dec 16, 2-Dec 17). All are from ORD to points in Europe, and all involve a seat in first class on a TG A380! I'm tickled pink!

Now I just have to watch for our return tickets to ORD.

Well, I just booked our January 2015 return FF tickets. United raised their "prices" for tickets on partner Star Alliance flights, so what we have for outbound would now "cost" 130,000 miles instead of the 70,000 we "paid" by booking before Feb 1. We are returning on a combination of Thai and SAS, via Stockholm, on planes that are 2-class only. We'll be up front in business/first, and at a cost of 80,000 per ticket. I'm sure it will be perfectly fine, but I'm glad we got the TG A380 experience up front just once more!!! It's a really nice ride!
