Re: Flight from Boston -> Paris -> Malaga

Andre:

Just received our tickets in the mail today. Hooray! The itinerary includes terminal information:

TO Spain:
Arrive from BOS at CDG 2C
Depart to AGP from CDG 2F

FROM Spain:
Arrive from AGP at CDG 2F
Depart to BOS from CDG 2C

Obviously as you said, this is a crapshoot and the arrival and departure information is liable to change at any time. But if the connection is as above, it looks like I should take shuttle bus #3 (blue route) from 2C to 2F (it goes direct between those two terminals).

On the way back, it looks like taking the #1 (Red) or #3 (Blue) shuttle bus 2F to 2D and then walking underground to 2C would be the best way to go.

Obviously we will finalize our connection plan when we know exactly what terminal we will be arriving at, which I imagine won't be until we actually get on the flight... but thanks to your advice I think we will be successful.

Excellent!

Sounds like you're all prepared and ready to go.

Regarding your transfers at CDG, while the arrival terminal is a crapshoot, your flights should leave from the terminals indicated (F for AGP and C for BOS). However, you should check one of the monitor banks before heading off - even if your onward connection is departing from the scheduled terminal, you still need to know which gate to go to.

If your flight back from AGP does indeed land at 2F, I would actually take bus lines 1 (red) or 5 (mauve), as the 2B/2D stop is located right by the escalator to the underground passageway for 2C - plus they both leave from the same exit at 2F (2.10), which means more frequent service as you can take either line.

Have a great time!
Andre

Thanks Andre! I can't wait. October 26 is the wedding, and we leave that night... still 2 months and 10 days. Not very long in reality but seems like a really long time right now!
