Best website for cheap Europe flights

What websites are best for finding cheap air tickets in Europe? We want to fly from Italy, Milan or Pisa to LHR. Is there an airline I should be looking at besides BA?

LHR only? There's budget airline from those cities to LHR.

From MXP, you have BA only.

From LIN, you have BA, AZ, as well as Eurofly.

Don't think there's PSA-LHR non-stop.

I mean... NO budget airlines from those cities to LHR. Only to other London airports.

Best Budget Airline from Pisa or Milan to London Gatwick is Easyjet.
You can get easy coach transfer to Heathrow from Gatwick. Watch all the "extras" though, can work out expensive.

Go to flycheapo.com where you enter the city that you want to fly to and then the city you want to depart from. You will find all the airlines that fly that particular route. I've used it to find some very good fares between European cities.

I believe that www.kayak.com is the best overall site for quick information on one screen. It allows you to narrow choices after looking at the overall picture of various airports, the number of stops and prices.

I really am not happy with the air prices - 2 weeks ago I saw round trip from CDG to MIA and back for $744......now the best I can find is
$834....

Anybody find a better price ?- ( admittedly I dont want to stop in London or take a 35 hour stopover someplace)

Do you think I should take the $834 considering I dont leave until May ?

Do You have to fly from CDG? Virgin Atlantic are doing return flights from Heathrow to Miami in May for approx. $470 return.

Thanks Barb Belle,

BUT - I DO try to avoid Heathrow at all costs bottomless pit where one never sees their luggage again.... or if they do -

they absolutely destroyed my favorite luggage carrier -- ripped the zipper off the threads - and it wasnt even locked..

www.skyscanner.net includes no-frills lines that may not appear on the big international sites. It's easier to use than whichbudget.

You can always checkout RyanAir for absurdly cheap flight deals. If you're willing to sacrifice comfort, in-flight experience, and convenience of airport location, it can be the most budget option around.

This topic is dated in JAN/09 so I'm sure the OP already found, used and is done with the trip by now.
