Pulley-On behalf of flight crews everywhere that have to work the holidays...THANK YOU! In all the years that I have flown holidays, I have only received one little gift with the rest of the crew on Christmas and was very appreciative.Seriously, some of my New Year's flights in years past we tried to have fun and have a party while hurling through the atmosphere at 35,000 feet!
I just had a couple on my Rome flight last week that brought special cookies from a bakery in SFO with a note for the crew to eat while crossing the pond-first time in 34 years!!!

I have done it twice. First time was on AA in First Class- all the chapagne I could drink. The second time was on Continental in coach class. Didn't get any champagne. My friends and I get a free nip though... due to the massive turbulence that night, the DRINK CART somehow managed to come loose from its holding area in the rear galley and fell over, and the mini bottles were rolling down the aisle toward the center of the plane. The FA grabbed the cart and yelled Happy New Year!

I'm surprised no one has asked...Couldn't you get on a plane, say in Europe and head to the US and ring in the new year over and over?
Of course you would want a European airline so the drinks would be free and the seatbelt sign would be turned off so dancing in the aisles can be allowed.
