Aeroflot to Moscow?
Has anyone flown Aeroflot to Russia? They have a non stop from JFK, and the flight time is much shorter than connecting through a European city. Any thoughts on safety, dependability, comfort, etc. would be appreciated.

I've never flown Aeroflot, but from what I read here on Fodors the international service is quite good. Modern planes, well maintained, up to all international aviation standards.
I'd not hesitate to fly them and as you say the non-stop is a lot shorter than connecting.
OK, I did once fly aeroflot, 30yrs ago in an old Soviet made rust bucket, but that was a different era.

Flew aeroflot JFK to Moscow several times, Moscow to London and Moscow to Paris during last couple of years. Intl flights are quite good. And after they renovated Sheremetyovo airport in Moscow and launched an express train from the airport to the city center, it's made it much more convenient to fly Aeroflot (Aeroflot does flights only from Sheremet'evo)

airlinequality.com/aeroflot done it years back was ok not great
but price/non-stop flight was excellent for business travel for me. quotewright.com independent trip cover always cheap wise for me into Russia. Expensive hotels complicated travel. Travel.state.gov for crime entry scam info.
Good luck!
