90 minute connection time Munich
Hello,
Based on what I am reading here I think a flight from USA to Naples with a connection in Munich is possible in a 90 minute window.
Flying from Washington DC on United to Munich where we will take Lufthansa to Naples,
with the time between being 90 minutes.
Much is said about 30 minute connections at Munich.
Is the consensus that 90 minutes will be enough time to go through passport controls as we are entering Schengen in Munich?
We will have carry on only , no checked bags.
I appreciate your input.

The Munich airport is fairly small and easy to navigate. You'll have to go through a passport check, but that takes just a few minutes. I did a similar connection with less than 90 minutes to spare and had time to sit and have a free coffee and check my email on the free Wi-Fi before my flight boarded.
However, be aware that you shouldn't dawdle. A lot of the planes used in Munich are small regional jets, and you are bused out to the tarmac to board, and this takes a few extra minutes.
