wilderness agent suggestion

I agree with Lynn's post above. Safaris are way too risky! Number one - Operators in whatever country be it Botswana, Kenya, SA etc etc., must take responsibility to work with only responsible/able travel agents. They probably need to be reviewed periodically also, simply because safaris are way too expensive for people to be taken for a ride...........

Shay Tay, I'm a former journalist, not a former client. A mission statement means absolutely diddly squat. And his charitable work and good deeds have nothing to do with running a travel business.
Like I said, I don't really know what he's up to now, just that his Web site looks more like a book publishing thing than a travel business.
I do note that after a search of this forum the only time his business comes up is under your name. Nobody else on this quite experienced board has ever recommended him that I can see. I'm not accusing you of anything, it's just curious. Perhaps it means nothing. Caveat emptor is my only message.

at the risk of going back to the point !, has sunny_california managed to find an agent he is happy with yet ?

Evening' folks! ~ did not log in since our decision was made a month ago ~ we picked Journey Beyond based in RSA ~ Thank You for all of your timely suggestions ~ all very helpful ~ they priced out best ~ going to a combo of camps ~ can't even pronounce the names ~
