Where to stay in mauritius in august?
hi
we are planning to visit mauritius for 7 days in august. Since its gonna be winters there.. is it the best time to visit and which area should we stay in?
also, how is the water temperature during winters? Is it okay for a swim?

Hi Sameea,
The East & South tends to be colder and Windier in August so look to the West or North of the island. It really depends on what you're looking to experience and your budge. A few recommendations are: Sugar Beach, Le Pirogue, Maritim Resort & Spa, Le Mauricia or Veranda Pointe Aux Biches Hotel.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Karen.
