where to marry in south africa or namibia?

Has anybody a good advice where to marry in south africa or namibia?
We booked at the leopards hill lodge one year ago. now, two months before the wedding they told us that they are overbooked. Now we are looking for a new place, which is very intimate and in the bush?

Depends on how much luxury you're looking for. For me there's no place more romantic than Wolwedans in NamibRand Nature Reserve. We renewed our wedding there a couple of years back, though that was very easy - as it was unofficial since we were already married we didn't need a registrar or permissions etc.

Contact CC Africa and ask them which of their lodges in SA or Namibia you can get married at. You will be thrilled with their professionalism, their lodges are beautiful, service impeccable, staff incredibly friendly and competent and your every wish will be taken care of.

If you email me personally I will forward you some info that you may find useful.
Cheers!

Hi there! I'm Rcon Franchesca Pascua, 22, writer, who also loves to explore and write about exotic destinations like Morocco. I suggest you check out the Cathedral Peak Hotel in Drakensberg, South Africa.

Admittedly I’ve never stayed at Cathedral Peak Hotel, even though I’ve hiked in the area many, many times over many, many years. My guess is that it isn’t as up-market as many of the places discussed on this forum, although I see they have honeymoon suite options. And of course it's in the mountains, not the bush.

But provided the mountains are not veiled in mist or cloud, the view of Cathedral Peak and the "Bell" through the stained glass altar window of their on-site chapel is stunning. Strange that I can't see any photos of that on their website.

OK, last one. The same exterior photo, but also one taken inside the chapel, albeit not that good IMO.
