Visas for Kenya Arrive - Trip is getting Real!

Just another FYI for those deciding between getting visas in advance or upon arrival. Embassy in Kenya was very prompt and we just received our self addressed fed ex envelope with visas -- this time it is just a stamp and signature unlike our fancy Tanzania visas with our pictures digitally included on the visa page. Took less than one week and the single entry visas are good for 6 months from the date they are completed. So, visas done, immunizations done, itinerary set (for now!). Now, to keep working, finish planning a bar mitzvah and party for 150 people, read everyone's trip reports, change my itinerary several more times, decide what to pack . .

Yay, Amy!

Boy, you're way ahead of me in terms of getting things done. I was thinking of getting our TZ visas at the airport this time but after reading Rocco's report I'm having second thoughts.

Larsens x 2 and Samburu x 2? Larsen's is in Samburu. Where for the second 2-days in Samburu? Lodge or camp?

Way ahead of me too, Amy and I'm going in May! The TZ visa applications are just at the embassy now, and I am waiting with baited breath for them to return so that I can get the Kenya apps off. We were going to get them when we deplaned in Nairobi, but once I read Rocco's report, I thought if it could happen in TZ, it could happen in Kenya too!
(Rocco, you made these embassies pretty busy you know....)

Duh! That's ok!
It started with an "S" so Samburu was as good as Sarara.
