VIDEO: Updated Main Page
I just went ahead and updated the Main Page of my East Africa Trip site:
http://www.waynehazle.com/eastafrica/index.html
Now there are links to all the movie files I have made so far.
NOTES:
- I changed the Masa Mara file so that it is the smaller 30MB version. So those of you who never saw that can at least have a chance of checking it out.
- I broke the Gorillas video into 3 parts and for some reason have not been able to upload part 3 all day. Will try this weekend.
- Hopefully in the next few days I will add the last remaining videos.

sigh. Fixed
Now if you click on any of the links in Firefox, it has a built in quicktime player and will play it in your browser.
I think IE will download it first.
It all depends on what plugins etc. you have installed.

Dear wayneh[a]zle -- I finally have been able to download and watch your Masai Mara video, and enjoyed it. The only problem is sometimes I feel like I need an image stabilizer on my head. ;~) I also read a little of your journal, and will read more when I have a few days --wow, that must have taken you a while. Did you really not know that your accommodations in the Masai were going to be tents? But it sounds like it was a very felicitous "oversight." We actually prefer tents over lodges, especially with the sense of remoteness and intimacy. After all, it is Africa, and IMHO it just adds to the experience. Some "tents" (e.g., Mombo Camp in Botswana) I guess are technically "tents" only because they are made of canvas, but are huge and have as much or more luxury and amenities of a 5-star hotel. I'm looking forward to more of your journal.

Yeah the image problem is worse when it gets compressed down to 12 frames a second
I don't know how I could have been so dense that I didn't realize that the first place was tented. However, it turned out to be the BEST place.
I think if I were going back I would ONLY go to tented places.
