Hey Alice! I got your notes for my Egypt trip back in 2000... It was helpful indeed, esp after I realised I was some 6 weeks into my first pregnancy. My daughter is already 13.5 mths. I'm currently planning a trip to Spain. Asians planning trips to Egypt, esp chinese/koreans/japanese can write to me if you want some tipcs/notes on how to avoid being harrased and misquoted. We generally had quite a tiring time(towards the end) fending off touts who thought we were japanese and hence tried to rip us off. Being in my 1st trimester of pregnancy probably made me feel more vulnerable than usual. But Egypt is great... and very memorable too!
