I will call SAA but I have not done so yet. I don't have the tickets - just the itinerary. It definitely says
Arrive Joburg 9:35A 1-stop via SAL
I sure hope we don't make an extra stop - the flying time is already about 14.5 hours longer than I want to be in a plane!
Roccco - I hope you and your wife have a better time than even YOU imagine (for sure you'll have a better time than what your wife is thinking!)
Think of us when you see your first African sunrise and your first view of the Southern Cross and your first sundowner!

Not sure of your issue: if taking 210 from Atlanta, it's NS to CT, one hour there, then two more to JBN.
If returning from JBN, it's down to CT about 5 p.m., then 8 hours to the island to refuel, then 8 more to Atlanta, normally arriving 8:30 a.m. the next day.

Thanks to all the wonderful Fodorites whom with your wonderful advice and exchanges of ideas have made this trip possible. Thanks to Selwyn, Liz Frazier, Traci, Kavey and Thit Cho (I wouldn't have found Kafunta without you).
My flight leaves in exactly 2 hours and 11 minutes and I am 45 minutes from LAX so bye for now!!!!!!
