sheldrake/giraffe manor

anyone have any opinion on visiting the

Daphe Sheldrake orphanage ?

or Giraffe Manor to see and feed the giraffes?

My wife did both a couple of years ago. In Nairobi, I certainly recommend both (along with the Nariobi safari park).

We did the Giraffe Manor and the Karen Blixon house with a tour guide arranged by the hotel. Feeding the giraffes was definitely worth while.

We went to Sheldrake via a taxi cab (an experience in itself) that was arranged by the hotel. He waited while we were at the orphange. It was quite interesting and and worth the time. If you go, try to find out when they'll be feeding the elephants and other animals.

hi there, i had stopped in giraffe center back in 2001. it was ok.
incase you want to check out a web site.
put in words:
daphne sheldrick, her web site will come up.
if you adopt an ele, you should be able to visit your baby. check it out when you can.
