ivee,

Are these two camps part of your own research, or is your TA pushing these camps on you?

Some very good delta camps are...little Kwara, Kwara, Mombo, Little Mombo, Vumbura, Little Vumbura, Chitabe, Kwetsani, Tubu Tree.........

check out www.kwando.co.za and www.wilderness.co.za

for more info, just in case you havent seen those websites yet......

Ivee,

What is the rest of your itinerary, that may influence which other camp would be good. Also, why are these two your only choices? Is this for Sept 2007 and most other camps are already full?
There are a few recent comments on Seba (do a search here), but I don't remember anyone that has stayed at Camp Moremi.

yes these are the ones available but theu were not pushed, were more or less our own ideas, the other ones we wanted LV and Little Kwara for instance were full do you think these two they are not recommendable?? I have seen the ino on Seba did not appeal to me that much what I saw in a guide and on the internet on Moremi seemed fine.. what do you think??

ivee,

Sorry.....i havent been to either camp. I'm sure they both could make fine choices should you opt to try them out.....

Alison liked her trip to Seba camp....that is the only other info i can relate to on either camp (atleast around here).....i met two European ladies at Lebala last August whose itineraries involved Seba camp.....however, they travelled onto Seba from Lebala, hence i didnt hear of their experiences. They had a nice itinerary where they had a mix of camps from different companies.

thanks. we were combining this with sabi sands but also have problems with flights perhaps we will postpone to 2008 as it is such an expensive trip , and try to have the lodges we really prefer. For september/october 2008 how long in advance should we book?

Ivee,

I stayed at Seba and can't speak highly enough of it. We were so lucky with all our sightings and the staff were wonderful and very professional. I haven't been to Moremi so can't comment but I do know you cant go wrong with Seba. We were there in early October. I would love to return but also know there are lots of other camps all with wonderful experiences so that is a hard decision. Good luck with your decision making!
Regards,
Alison

ivee,
I totally agree with Alison on Seba. I was there last October, and loved it.It's small, new, and beautifully run. If you like elephants you can't go wrong.

Never stayed at Chobe Game Lodge, but I have enjoyed the Chobe area. Be sure to do the sunset wildlife cruise.
