Schleping logistics at Heathrow's Hilton

Geez, couldn't sleep this morning as it just occurred to me that when we stop over for a night at London's Heathrow Hilton next week en route to Nairobi, that we will have 4 bags to schlep.

Anybody know if we can take a luggage cart down on the long walk to the hotel, or hire a golf cart or something? Or, is there overnight storage at T4?

We will have our two wheeled Micato bags (no more than 33 lbs each of course!), but on the way there we will also have 2 bags that will be staying in Africa, not wheeled, and one weighs 35lbs. One is a bag full of gifts for Kennedy & his family, and our Micato safari director, Daniel and his family (who isour safari director again for this year). The other is the America Shares bag for the orphanage. (you guys should SEE the adorable yellow dress my son's girlfriend picked out yesterday for some cute little girl!)

We did go kind of overboard on buying gifts and for the orphanage on this trip....

Ditto....there is a long tunnel/passage way from the terminal to the hotel and you can drop the luggage trolley at the front of the Hilton.

Happy travels!!!

Hari, I think it's the : followed by a p that caused the tongue pokey smiley! That one gets me all the time. And the 8 and ) giving 8) gets me a lot too!

Thank you Hari and based on my questions that I emailed you that smile is rather appropriate.

Sandi's responses also helped.

If you request it early and get on the list, the Hilton has a golf cart to take you and your bags back to the terminal in the AM. Good luck. It is a loooong walk.
