lyyonn1,
How many days do you have available and what is your budget?
Since you state that accomodations are very important, I take that to mean that you are looking for the best. Is that correct?
Do you want to spend time in Cape Town or Victoria Falls, as well?
If you e-mail me I do have a couple good contacts that may provide you with competitive pricing on a Southern African safari.
The best place to start would be with your available schedule and budget. Keep in mind that for a top notch place that a safari may run $1,000 per person per night sharing. On the other hand, for about half the price, if you know where to look, you can get a very exclusive safari lodge that will ultimately be very similar to the $1,000 pp per night safari.

Like Roccco's questions, how many days and what is your budget and time of year.
Also know that it is easier to do the Seychelles from an East African safari - Kenya/Tanzania - with regular daily flights to the Seychelles, then if doing safari in southern Africa.
Answers to those questions and ease of connections to/fr the Seychelles will assist us in helping you get started.

I have about 12 days to do the entire trip, and the time of year is completely open. I'm looking for a great Safari with lots and lots of animals and great weather in the Seychelles. I will be comming from the U.S., if that matters. Thanks

My reply didn't seem to post. Here we go again...
12 days isn't a lot of time to do both and you'll have to contend with the limited flight schedule to the Seychelles. East Africa is a little closer than Southern Africa if that's a consideration. Flights from Nairobi take about 3.5 hours versus about 5 hours from Johannesburg.
Air Seychelles flies nonstop from Johannesburg once or twice a week depending on the season. Any other airlines that fly this route?
Kenya Airways flies nonstop from Nairobi twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. I couldn't locate any daily flights from East Africa. There are flights on other days that route through Dubai but that's going pretty far out of the way to connect.
If anyone knows of other flight alternatives, I'd be interested to find out too.
