Outta Here

Back in two weeks, after Mala Mala, Little Mombo and Kings Pool - do you think I'll see a Lion?

Have a great trip.

Lion, yes. Have you see an antlion? On a walk at Savuti Camp, the guide stopped and dug up some antlions, which we viewed using the binoculars (reversed, the magnify, which was something I learned on that walk).

If you go on a "tracking safari" the lions will be waiting for you.
Have a fantastic trip.
(Reversed binos become microscopes? Didn't know that!)

Enjoy your trip!
Come back with a wine report.
It's bad luck to wish you good lion sightings - so I won't.

Read an article in an optics journal that claimed reversed binos could possibly be used to see into a room through the peep hole found in many hotel room doors. Always meant to try it on my room whan in a hotel but keep forgetting.

We're back, had a great time, though we were not as lucky as Dennis with the dogs at MM. Trip report and wine report to follow.

Saw the Eyrefield Pride with their 9 cubs at MM - awesome, though not great light.
