I know it's easy for me to say, and it's really nerve-wracking for you - but honestly, I truly believe Bashar would make sure you are in the best hands! Bashar is a professional and knows what travelers need. He would make sure you are well taken care of. And I'm sure his friend will be just as charming as he is! Don't worry! I know things like this have happened to me in my travels over the years- it's upsetting because you feel secure with what you had planned and then something unexpected changes things at the last moment- but I've always found for me it's best to just go with it. It's part of the crazy adventure! And while I'm sad you won't have the chance to meet Bashar, I can tell you I'm sure you will be fine and have an amazing trip! You're going to see Petra!!!!

Thanks k...I'm taking the chance and going with Bashar's "partner" but I let him know that his "charm" is widley regarded and that his partner will be rated on the same scale. So look for my comments in May when I return. Hopefully, Bashar will have provided an equally talented and charming driver for my group.
