Moremi Air

Anyone use this light air charter company in Botswanta. If so, were you pleased? Any concerns about safety? Thanks!

We flew Moremi Air from for our Botswana-Zambia transfer from Kasane to Livingston. No problems; no concerns. That was in 2004.

Although we were traveling with Wilderness Safaris, they put us on Moremi Air instead of Sefofane for our transfer from Maun to Chitabe. We felt perfectly safe, even flying through a couple of rainstorms. The planes are about what you would fly with Sefofane, small, 6-seaters.

Hi! We travelled exclusively with Moremi Air during my last trip with Kwando safaris. Very safe...great pilots....infact, one of the pilots James is one of the best.......

Here's the story.....we Indians need a visa to go everywhere on this planet. When we landed in Kasane from Livingstone we needed Pulas (500each person) for our visas. They dont accept USD, Credit cards, anything else. They didnt have 1500 pulas at the ice cream kiosk in the airport, either. So James, who is based out of Kasane, took my foreign exchange with him in his parked motor cycle and went to the bank to encash it and brought it back to me to pay for my visa. He then flew me on my next flight to Lebala. Wow!!!

In short, enjoy your trip......you are in safe hands.......

I had 4 flights on Moremi Air in March. They had a wonderful young lady greet us in Maun and she directed staff to help gather the bags.

We had a different pilot for each leg and all were great -- no flying or equipment issues, friendly and considerate pilots.

Hari,

I think you are right that I had both of them. We also had a young German woman who was fabulous but I can't recall her name, Britta maybe? I was co-pilot for her so I got to talk to her the most. They were all great!
