This is not about December, but very close--I was there in early January 2004 and I thought the weather was perfect. It was a bit cooler in at night, but perfect in the daytime. In all of my pics I'm not wearing a jacket during the day, although I remember wearing a light jacket in the evenings.

If you need stats, check www.weatherbase.com

dear P M, here is a belated thank you for your response...you were right, all i needed was a light jacket. i wore the native dress almost every day, on cooler nights with a long sleeve t shirt and jeans underneath...
it was a fabulous trip... i would reccomend marrakesh to anyone!
thanks again, maltesa

Not to burst anyone's bubble here but I have to say that as someone who has been living here for some time, nice weather in Marrakesh in winter is not a given....it can just as easily be cold and rainy, so I would at least be prepared for that to be the case. Remember the old addage about Morocco, "a cold country with a hot sun".

well then i feel very fortunate. it was only nippy up at the base of the atlas mountains...and a shirt and jeans under the jalibah (sp?) was enough. i loved that trip! so exotic and interesting...a kaleidoscope of colors and scents...and the people were very lovely too.
