Leaving for TZ tomorrow
I am all packed ~ okay I packed and repacked a few times but its all in there and I did use Lynda's list.
I feel that I'm well prepared. I've read everything on here and so many books that I have a small library.
I have no expectations for animal sitings b/c I feel that any siting is going to be a privilege (and that way I won't fee disappointed).
So why am I posting? I'm so nervous! I'm going alone and that's okay. I don't love traveling alone but in order to go to the places I want its a must do...
ANY last minute tips or tricks?

Have a fantastic time. A safari is the perfect vacation to be on by yourself. You will not be alone. The extradorinary landscape, abundant wildlife, and wonderful African people will be with you.
Clematis's tip is a great one. Make sure you keep a journal. You will look back on it many times with fond memories.

Do keep a journal - it's so wonderful to read back on some of the little details later that have slipped from the memory but come flooding back on reading the reminder!

From my list of last minute todos:
Stopped the mail and newspaper?
Left contact info, emergency numbers, and itinerary with friends/relatives?
Confirmed your flights?
Copies of all your documents (including passport) in separate places?
Itinerary and contact info in your checked baggage?
Local contact numbers for your operator? For the US Consulate/Embassy?
Numbers for your airline in case of delays and need to reschedule? Numbers for credit card company? Travel Insurance?
Fresh/Recharged batteries for your electronics and camera?
US Currency in new bills? Ready cash for the Visa?
Addresses for postcards? Perhaps, addresses printed out on sticky labels if you have a lot.
For the truly diligent - registered your itinerary with the US State Department? https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/
