Leaving for Safari in Two Days!!!
Actually we're spending a few days in London on the way, so won't arrive in Nairobi until Friday evening and then Tanzania on Saturday evening.
We're just in Nairobi for a day at the beginning and a half day at the end for the usual sites: Giraffe Center, Animal Orphanage, Karen Blixen museum, dinner at the Carnivore. Once we arrive in Tanzania the schedule looks like this:
Day 1 - Overnight at Impala Hotel
Day 2 - Tarangire National Park and Night Game Drive, overnight at Boundary Hill Lodge
Day 3 - Guided Bush Walk, Lake Manyara Nat'l Park, overnight Gibb's Farm (cottage)
Day 4 - Karatu Cultural Visit, Ngorongoro Crater, overnight Ngorongoro Sopa
Day 5 - Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti Natl Park, overnight Olakira Camp (central)
Day 6 - Sunrise Serengeti Drive, Serengeti Natl Park, overnight Olakira Camp (central)
Day 7 - Morning Serengeti Drive enroute to Migration Camp, lunch at Migration Camp, Afternoon Serengeti Drive, overnight Migration Camp (It was between heading North to Migration Camp or South to Ndutu. I know it may not have been the smart choice in terms of seeing more animals and it certainly was a strain on the budget, but after all the raves on this board and elsewhere, I just had to splurge on Migration Camp)
Day 8 - Sunrise Serengeti Drive, Serengeti National Park, overnight Migration Camp
Day 9 - Fly from Serengeti to Nairobi
Any last minute suggestions or advice? I still haven't packed and weighed my bag yet, so that should be the last pre-trip challenge
Thanks to everyone on this board for all the great advice.

Have a great trip!
My most recent trip would say leave half of what you have packed at home, and buy the best camera lenses you can afford. Also, have a second battery always charged because it it too easy to check your digital photos, (and fun) which draws the camera battery down super fast. Lastly, pick up an extra meg card as they are really expensive in Africa and a few people I met had corrupted card issues. We downloaded our chips to a dvd any chance we had just in case.
Enjoy....
