Have you ever flown into the airport at Cozumel? JRO reminds me of that airport.
We spent very little time in JRO, but it seemed quite small, fairly well maintained, but I don't know whether there are shower facilities. I rather doubt it.

I don't think there are any showers there. As noted, it's a rather small airport. There are new bathrooms just outside Baggage Claim, though. 
Do you have a layover of any length there? If so, you might consider getting a dayroom at the KIA Lodge just outside the airport gates.
